MAD BURNISH (Vector Illustration)

This is a poster I created to promote the movie "PROMARE". I was inspired by the movies brilliant use of colors and sharp subtle gradiants, and wanted to communicate that same desing in this poster.

TEXT AND CONTEXT

I also wanted to see how the poster would fit together with text and some form of story context so I Opted to add a wite outline and text under the artwork.

PROCESS

At the start I wanted to create a more minimalistic poster, and opted to use a single flame at the middle to illustrate PROMARE's subtle design. As you can see above it eventually evolved into more than that, but it's fun to see where it started.
